Development engineer

Normet Oy is seeking a development engineer for their production development team in Iisalmi, Iceland. This full-time, permanent position focuses on the development and continuous improvement of assembly processes, production methods, and logistics. The ideal candidate will work closely with product development, quality, and production organizations to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include standardizing assembly orders, developing and maintaining product structure phases in the PLM system, participating in workload balancing, supporting the expansion of assembly line operations, and designing and implementing new product assembly solutions.
