Department Chief Psychiatrist

We are seeking a Department Chief Psychiatrist for the VARHA Psych Outcome Team at Tune Hospital Services, focusing on adult psychiatric outpatient care in Turku. As the Department Chief, you will lead the Tutsypsychiatry performance group, collaborating with acute HY7 emergency care services and other departments. Your role will involve managing approximately 112 employees and ensuring seamless communication and patient care. The position offers a permanent contract starting January 1, 2027, or upon agreement. You will be responsible for providing on-call support, coordinating with partners, and implementing a production plan and budget balance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the response to referrals and complaints within the prescribed timescale.
• Assess, monitor, and develop the fluidity and patient orientation of the service paths of patients in the area of responsibility with other service providers.
