Neurology Ward Doctor

HUS Helsingin yliopistollinen sairaala is seeking a dedicated Neurology Ward Doctor for their neurology department at Meilahti Hospital. This position requires a specialist with extensive experience in polyclinic neurology and a strong background in epilepsy diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, participate in epilepsy treatment meetings, and contribute to the development of epilepsy treatment plans. The role involves updating information on outpatient neurological care, particularly in relation to epilepsy, and providing expert guidance to specialist doctors. A competitive hourly wage based on Finnish collective agreements is offered, along with potential bonuses and experience-based salary.

Responsibilities

• Expert work of the Epilepsia Helsinki center for severe and rare epilepsies (ERN Epi Care).
• Participation in Meilahti Hospital's neurology back-call clinic.
