Data and AI Consultant

We are looking for a Data and AI Consultant at Academic Work Finland Oy, where you will be responsible for the autonomous implementation of analytics solutions from requirement definition to publication, using platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Azure. Your tasks include receiving solution specifications, making workload estimates, designing data repositories and models, implementing Power BI and Qlik solutions, ensuring data quality, and managing AI agents like Claude Code. You will work with version control (GitHub) and the Kanban model, and have the opportunity to lead exciting customer projects and grow into a management consultant role.

What We Expect

The qualities, work ethics, and standards we expect to maintain a productive and respectful workplace are listed below:

• Good knowledge of at least one of the following platforms: Microsoft Fabric or Databricks.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience in workflow automation such as Power Automate or n8n.
• Experience in the use of artificial intelligence agents (such as Claude Code) in software development or analytics.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.
• Good communication and consulting skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to work responsibly and carry out the following tasks and duties:

• Receive solution specifications and make workload estimates.
• Design data repositories and models for Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Azure platforms.
• Implement Power BI and Qlik solutions and conversions.
• Ensure the quality of data, match figures, and test before publication.
• Use and manage artificial intelligence agents (Claude Code) in development work.
• Work with version control (GitHub) and the Kanban model.
