IT Architect

Staria is seeking a dynamic IT Architect based in Helsinki or Tampere/Turku, reporting to the Director of Business IT & Security. This role will help shape Staria's technology landscape as we grow internationally. You'll work closely with business stakeholders and IT colleagues, translating business needs into practical solutions and guiding technology decisions that support future growth. With a focus on architecture planning and hands-on implementation, you'll contribute to cloud strategy, security operations, and modernizing infrastructure. Our salary range is €5,500-6,500/month depending on experience, with potential for broader ownership in Staria's IT architecture. The holiday bonus is distributed evenly across your monthly pay.

What We Expect

• Hands-on technical expertise combined with the ability to think strategically.
• Experience leading IT development, transformation, or modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and challenge technology choices, vendor proposals, and architectural decisions from security, cost, scalability, and maintainability perspectives.
• Help define how we further develop and govern a modern cloud-first IT environment.
• Contribute to key decisions around cloud services, infrastructure, SaaS solutions, end-user platforms, and cybersecurity.
