Manager, data and AI

Destia is Finland's largest provider of infrastructure services in Finland. Our growth is strong and we have just exceeded EUR 800 million in turnover. To support growth, we also want to strengthen our in-house data and AI expertise, and we are now looking for a leader for that team. What kind of roles and teams would you be on? Currently, the team consists of five hardcore data and AI professionals. Everyone is working on the data for the whole chain, from the source to the report and also to other uses. In terms of data, we're moving to an Azure cloud-based architecture, and the AI platform is already cloud-enabled. We have access to the latest technology in the field, and the convenience of AI is already commonplace to us.

What We Expect

• Staff experience - Multi-faceted experience with data in an in-house and/or consultancy role, including data management, architectures, master data, database solutions, integrations and artificial intelligence.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure computing solutions, or equivalent from other vendors.
• Experience in governance and compliance issues.
• Actively using AI in your work and identifying the potential of AI.
• Solution-oriented work output and good collaboration skills.
• Fluent in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team, be responsible for the overall picture and actively engage with our internal and external stakeholders.
• Staff the Data & AI Team: 121 discussions, objective, career and competence discussions, administrative staffing, enabling and removing barriers to teamwork, coordinating teamwork, recruitment and training.
• Steering the team's practical work and developing management techniques.
• Stakeholder cooperation: steering groups, representing Destia in negotiations and with partners, collaborating with existing and potential partners.
• New ideas and development, e.g. Exploring the impact of our AI strategies and new opportunities.
• Practical development, leading projects and working with different stakeholders as appropriate.
