Rescue Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rescue Management Specialist for the Pohjois-Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue, specializing in the management of rescue operations and planning. This position requires a deep understanding of rescue operations and their operating environments, along with strong management skills and the ability to develop and implement effective management systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with rescue operation managers and other experts, coordinating with various service areas and authorities, and contributing to the development of rescue plans and expert training. A background in situational and command center activities, management exercises, and multi-authority cooperation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support rescue operation managers, assess management situations, and prepare suggestions for improvement based on findings.

• Cooperate with different service areas of the rescue service, other authorities, partners, and experts, and act as an expert in working groups, networks, exercises, and development packages.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on the mission area, as well as related expert training and internal communication.
