Rikosseuraamuslaitos is seeking a committed and versatile guard for Naarajärvi prison in Pieksämäki. This role involves ensuring the safety of society through the enforcement of prison sentences and preventing recidivism. The ideal candidate will work closely with prisoners, utilizing information systems and administrative support to guide them towards a crime-free life. With a strong focus on active interaction and security expertise, this position offers a permanent contract and a competitive salary range of 2485-2744 euros per month. The role requires proficiency in Finnish and a passion for upholding justice and respect for human dignity.

Responsibilities

• Taking care of the daily running of the prison.
• Prison security and compliance with the rules.
• Day-to-day support in the prisoner's affairs.
• Guide the prisoner in a planned way towards a crime-free life.
• Act as another prisoner's responsible official in cooperation with the actual responsible official in monitoring and implementing plans for the prisoner's sentence.
• Use the information systems of the Criminal Sanctions Office in your work every day.
